White Wedding Card

It has been a looooooooooong while since I made a card and posted on my blog. Oh, I must retrain myself for blogging stamina again! But you know it's summer now, Mr Sun tempts us all to go out and do more outdoor activities ;)

I finally got round to making wedding cards. Thanks to my housemate who just over the weekend asked if I've got any wedding card as he wanted to buy one from me. He needed it within the same day, so I had to quickly whip up a design and this was my shot...

Like how the embossed pattern popped up on the white background

Stamps: Sentiment by May Hughes
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Paper: Scallop Card, Kraft Paper
Embellishment: 3mm Light Green Gems (Anita's), Gold Ribbon, Triple Gol & White Striped Ribbon, White Lace, Pearl Stickers
Tools: Damask Embossing Folder (Craft-Too), Multi Frame Die (Nellie's)

Since I started the ball rolling for wedding theme cards, I made another few more for my to-be-wed friends. One of the designs can be seen in my next post here.

I am entering this card for these challenges :

  2. Hey Marlene,

So honoured to have you visit my blog! Bet you visit because of the link at my FB ;)

Actually hor, I seldom use these pale colours. It's my 1st time embossing on a plain white card too. Thank you. Funnily, I am one of those that always seem to feel other people's design/style look better hers. Just like how I like yours ;)
